Only a few hours have passed and we have started facing a few tiny issues with the game. While playing Borderland 3, I changed to DirectX 12 and was stuck on an infinite claptrap loading screen. Tried restarting, reinstalling, but nothing worked. But, lucky for you we have the exact fix that will take care of this.
Borderlands 3 Stuck at Claptrap Loading Screen
How Do I fix this?
Fixing this is quite easy, you just have to edit a file, continue reading to find out more
- Exit Epic Games launcher
- Head to My Documents > My Games > Borderlands 3 > Saved > Config
- Open “WindowsNoEditor”
- Now double click on GameUserSettings.ini file
- Replace PreferredGraphicsAPI=DX12 with PreferredGraphicsAPI=DX11
This will revert back the changes you have made earlier. This is a bug related to the DirectX API and fixes for the same should follow soon. We will make sure to update this article once this happens.
