Fix 1: Rename the Dell file name
- Follow the given path on your computer: C:\Program Files\Dell\SupportAssistAgent\bin\Resources.
- Here, you will locate the file with a name “New-Dell-Logo-White-Small”.
- Make a Right-click on this file and select Rename option.
- Now, remove Small from the end of the file name. It should be only New-Dell-Logo-White.
Now, start Support Assist software and check if works. If not, then move to the another fix.
Fix 2: Update your Windows
Click on the search box of Windows Screen located on the bottom-left corner. Type Windows Update in the windows search box and click on Check for updates. Doing this will update Windows 10 on your system if any updates are present. Once this is completed, restart your computer and then launch Support Assist. Fix 3: Uninstall and then reinstall Support Assist from Apps and Features
You can try resolving this issue by uninstalling Support Assist and then reinstall it for a fresh start. To do this, type Apps and Feature in the Windows search box and hit on Apps and Feature to open it. Now, remove all the files related to Support Assist. Once the uninstall is completed, restart the system and then reinstall the latest version of the software from the internet.
Make sure that there is no other file present on your system for Support Assist. You can uninstall the leftover registry files using Revo Uninstaller. Once the files are deleted, restart the system and re-download Support Assist.
